KARACHI — Acting on the directives of the Commissioner Karachi, the Assistant Commissioner of Shah Faisal Colony conducted a milk quality inspection drive in the area to ensure the availability of safe and hygienic milk for residents.

The operation was carried out in collaboration with officials from the Sindh Food Authority. During the drive, milk samples from several dairy shops were tested on the spot. The Assistant Commissioner reported that the quality of milk at multiple outlets was found to be unsatisfactory.
As a result, fines were imposed on several dairies. Al-Hamad Dairy and Karachi Dairy were each fined Rs10,000, while Al-Zainab Dairy received the highest fine of Rs20,000. Rajput Dairy, Al-Hamad Dairy, and Shan Rajput Dairy were also fined Rs10,000 each.
The Assistant Commissioner warned dairy owners that strict action would continue against those selling substandard milk and added that outlets failing to maintain quality standards may be sealed in future operations.
Authorities emphasized that the campaign is part of ongoing efforts to protect public health and ensure the supply of safe, high-quality food items across Karachi.
