The operation involved a direct engagement with the militants, resulting in an intense exchange of fire that led to the elimination of four khwarij. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the neutralized militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
Security Forces have launched a continued sanitization operation to root out any remaining foreign-sponsored militants in the area. Officials emphasized that this action is part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam”, as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
The campaign reflects Pakistan’s sustained commitment to eliminating foreign-supported terrorism and maintaining regional security. Law enforcement agencies and military forces are continuing operations at full pace to neutralize threats and ensure safety across the country.
