A shooting incident in the Baldia Colony area of Karachi left three people dead, including a woman, while another woman sustained injuries, police officials said on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Abid Ali, 60, his wife Maryam, 50, and their son Zohaib, 20. The injured woman, 35-year-old Fatima, was shifted to hospital for treatment.
According to police, the victims were transported to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities and medical care immediately after the incident.
Preliminary investigations suggest the shooting may have stemmed from a personal enmity or dispute. However, authorities said the exact motive remains unclear.
A Crime Scene Unit team was called to collect evidence from the site, and police have launched an inquiry to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack and identify those responsible.
