Karachi, 17 December 2025 – The 29th Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Open Golf Championship 25 officially began on Wednesday at the Karachi Golf Club (KGC) with a formal opening ceremony and media briefing. Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi, Commander Karachi and President KGC, presided over the ceremony as the Chief Guest.

The championship, scheduled from 17 to 21 December, will feature competitions across multiple categories, including Professionals, Senior Professionals, Junior Professionals, Ladies Professionals, Senior Amateurs, Junior Amateurs, Ladies Amateurs, Veterans, and Pro-Amateurs. Golfers from across Pakistan are participating, competing for awards and cash prizes, including a special prize for a ‘Hole in One’.
Vice Admiral Abbasi formally inaugurated the tournament following the media briefing. The opening ceremony was attended by civil and military dignitaries, tournament sponsors, players, and members of the media.
