Karachi, 20 September 2026: Exercise SEASPARK 2026 is underway as Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf reviews naval operations at sea and in the Creeks Area. Admiral Ashraf visited several naval units participating in the exercise and interacted with personnel, according to a Pakistan Navy statement. The exercise began on 1 September and is held every two years to rehearse a broad range of maritime operations. The navy says it tests its ability to move quickly from peacetime deployments to wartime operations. It is being conducted under the broader framework of Operations in Information Environment (OIEs). The exercise also features elements of multi-domain operations and extensive use of unmanned systems, according to the navy. During his visits, Admiral Ashraf praised the personnel for their professionalism, morale and operational readiness. He also expressed confidence in their commitment to maintaining maritime capabilities. The navy did not provide further operational details about the exercise.
