The Petrol Prices have been cut by Rs0.84 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) has become Rs2.63 per litre cheaper under the latest revision. The updated rates are listed in OGRA’s September 25 pricing publications. Petrol will now cost Rs389.28 per litre, down from the previous rate, while the price of HSD has been set at Rs412.12 per litre. The reduction follows fluctuations in international oil prices. The revised rates will remain applicable for the period specified in the government’s notification. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has also started publishing petroleum prices on a daily basis as part of a new mechanism aimed at improving transparency and allowing changes in international oil prices to be reflected more quickly in domestic rates. Macklemore Tour Rapper announces Free Palestine shows across Europe Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said the daily prices are calculated using a seven-day average of international market prices. The mechanism is intended to bring domestic fuel pricing closer to movements in global markets. The latest reduction is expected to lower fuel costs for consumers, although the impact will vary depending on future international oil prices and subsequent pricing revisions. The new petrol and HSD rates came into effect on September 25. Post navigation Social Media Tax FBR sets minimum taxable income formula for creators
