The price of gold in Pakistan continued its downward trend on Monday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of one tola of gold fell by Rs12,800 to Rs438,136, the association said. The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs10,973, bringing the rate to Rs375,631. Silver prices followed the same trend. The price of one tola of silver decreased by Rs325 to Rs6,578. Gold prices also fell in international markets, where the price declined by $128 to $4,156 per ounce.
