The federal government has raised the price of petrol to Rs394.83 per litre from Rs393.64, while high-speed diesel will now cost Rs395.85 per litre, down from Rs397.76. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) issued a notification confirming the revised prices, which will remain effective from October 7. According to the Petroleum Division, the latest adjustments were made in line with changes in international petroleum prices. The pricing review also took into account Platts rates, premiums and other related costs.
