LAHORE, Nov 18, 2025: The Pakistan Navy held a media briefing on Tuesday for the upcoming 11th Vice Admiral H.M.S. Chaudhry Amateur Golf Cup 2025 at the Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore. Commander Central Punjab, Rear Admiral Sohail Ahmad Azmie, shared details of the event, which will take place from 20 to 23 November at the Defence Raya Golf & Country Club.

Rear Admiral Azmie highlighted Pakistan Navy’s sustained efforts to promote sports across the country, noting that the annual golf championship, held in Lahore since 2011, reflects the Navy’s commitment to nurturing athletic talent. He said participants in previous editions had delivered impressive performances, and this year’s tournament is expected to feature strong competition.
The championship will be contested across three main categories: Amateurs, Seniors, and Ladies.

Amateur category: Players with a handicap of 10 or below will play 18 holes per day, completing 54 holes over three days.

Ladies category: Golfers with a handicap of 24 or below will compete over 18 holes.

Senior Amateurs: Participants with a handicap of 12 or below will play 36 holes over two days.
The briefing concluded with reaffirmation of the Navy’s commitment to fostering a vibrant sports culture and providing competitive platforms for athletes nationwide.
