A car crashed into a group of pedestrians in Tokyo on Monday, injuring 11 people, including two who are reported to be in critical condition, Japanese broadcaster NTV said.

Aerial footage aired by NTV showed that multiple vehicles were involved in the accident, though the cause has yet to be determined.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the driver of a white sedan abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene immediately after the collision.
Authorities are treating the incident as a hit-and-run and have launched an investigation, NTV reported.
