Renowned religious scholar and former chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, has been diagnosed with dengue fever and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karachi.
According to his spokesperson, Mufti Muneeb was admitted two days ago after developing symptoms consistent with dengue. Doctors initiated prompt treatment, and his condition has since shown noticeable improvement.
Family members and close associates expressed relief, saying Mufti Muneeb’s health is better than before and he is responding well to medical care.
Mufti Muneeb, who led the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for many years and played a key role in Pakistan’s moon-sighting process, is widely respected across the country. News of his illness has led to an outpouring of prayers and well-wishes from religious circles and the public.
