ISLAMABAD – Atta Tarar, Pakistan’s Federal Information Minister, stated that the ongoing Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq has inflicted significant losses on Afghan Taliban fighters.

In a post on X, Tarar claimed that Pakistani forces have killed 415 Taliban members and injured 580 others during the military campaign. According to him, 182 Taliban check posts have been completely destroyed, with 31 others captured. Additionally, 115 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns were reportedly “fully destroyed.”
The minister also highlighted that Pakistani forces conducted targeted airstrikes on 46 locations inside Afghanistan, focusing on militant positions.
No independent verification of these figures has been provided, and Afghan authorities have not immediately responded to the claims.
