Railway officials said the schedule for the Eid special trains has been released following directives from the railways minister to accommodate the increased travel demand during the holidays.
According to the plan, the first special train will depart from Lahore to Karachi on March 16.
The second train will run from Quetta to Rawalpindi on March 17.
Meanwhile, the third Eid special train will travel from Karachi to Peshawar on March 17, while the fourth train will depart from Karachi to Lahore on March 18.
Officials said the initiative aims to provide additional travel options and reduce congestion as thousands of people move between cities to celebrate Eid with their families.
Passenger traffic typically increases significantly across the country during the Eid holidays, prompting transport authorities to introduce special services each year.
