
A high-level defence delegation from Bangladesh, led by Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hassan, Principal Staff Officer, Armed Forces Division, called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, at Air Headquarters in Islamabad.

During the meeting, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening military ties with Bangladesh through enhanced collaboration and joint training initiatives. Both sides agreed to explore avenues for further cooperation, including exchange programs and shared training exercises.
Lieutenant General Hassan commended the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its innovative projects, cutting-edge technologies, and indigenously developed advancements under the current leadership. He expressed particular interest in Pakistan’s sophisticated military hardware, notably the JF-17 Thunder fighter jets.
The meeting underscores the shared resolve to bolster military partnerships and foster robust relations between the two nations, highlighting a mutual commitment to regional stability and cooperation.
