Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF), visited Lahore Garrison, where he was briefed in detail on the formation’s operational preparedness, training standards, and key initiatives aimed at enhancing combat efficiency.

During the visit, the COAS & CDF observed a specialized field training exercise featuring the latest military technologies, highlighting the Pakistan Army’s focus on innovation and adaptability to meet the demands of an evolving battlefield. He also inspected sports and recreational facilities for troops, stressing their role in maintaining physical fitness, morale, and overall well-being.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also visited the High Care Center at CMH Lahore, where he commended the medical staff and administration for establishing a fully equipped, state-of-the-art healthcare facility for military personnel.
Addressing officers at Lahore Garrison, the COAS & CDF reiterated the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance policy toward threats to national security. He reaffirmed the armed forces’ unwavering commitment to confronting multifaceted challenges with professionalism, focus, and determination. Emphasising the Army’s core mission, he stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces remain resolute in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability, while upholding a culture of discipline, excellence, and selfless national service.
Earlier, upon his arrival at Lahore Garrison, the COAS & CDF was received by the Commander Lahore Corps.
