RAWALPINDI: Security Forces eliminated four Indian-sponsored Khwarij belonging to the proxy network Al-Khwarij during multiple intelligence-based and encounter operations carried out across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 17–18 November 2025.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first intelligence-based operation (IBO) was launched in Bajaur District on confirmed reports of militant presence. During an intense exchange of fire, troops effectively engaged the hideout, killing one Khwarij.
Two more militants were neutralized in separate IBOs conducted in the general areas of Spinwam and Zakir Khel in North Waziristan District. Another Khwarij was eliminated during an encounter in Dera Ismail Khan District, the statement added.
Security Forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the slain militants, who were involved in numerous terrorist attacks in the region.
Sanitization operations are currently underway to clear the area of any remaining Indian-sponsored militants. The ISPR reaffirmed that the ongoing Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue with full resolve to eradicate foreign-backed terrorism from the country.
