According to initial information, the first incident occurred in the Ahmed Abad area on Dhamial Road, while the second explosion was reported in the Gulrez area. In both cases, gas leaks inside residential houses led to blasts that caused burn injuries.
Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scenes immediately after receiving reports of the explosions. The injured, including two men and two women, were given first aid on the spot before being shifted to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment.
Rescue officials said that in the Gulrez incident, gas had accumulated inside the house and the explosion occurred when an electric switch was turned on. In the Ahmed Abad area, a gas leak triggered a blast when a fire was lit inside the house.
Authorities have urged residents to ensure proper ventilation and take precautionary measures to prevent gas-related accidents.
