Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Brussels on a three-day official visit, undertaken at the special invitation of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas.

Upon his arrival at Brussels International Airport, he was received by Foreign Secretary Amina Baloch, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the EU, Belgium and Luxembourg Rahim Hayat Qureshi, along with officials from the Embassy of Pakistan in Belgium.
During the visit, Senator Dar will co-chair the 7th Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue in Brussels. He will also participate in the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, where he is scheduled to attend a dedicated session on “Maritime Security.”
On the sidelines of the forum, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from several countries.
The visit is expected to play a key role in advancing and deepening Pakistan-EU ties across political, economic, and security domains
