Karachi East Notification
The Deputy Commissioner of Karachi East, on November 20, 2025, issued a notification prohibiting all transactions involving illegal portions, extra floors, and buildings without SBCA approval or completion certificates. Key areas affected include Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, PECHS, PIB Colony, Jamshed Road, Soldier Bazaar, Brigade, and Mehmoodabad.
The DC East highlighted the role of property dealers, brokers, and real estate agents in promoting illegal constructions and confirmed that action against violators has commenced.
