Saba Rashid from Karachi has made history by becoming the first martial arts athlete from Pakistan to set a Guinness World Record.
She achieved the feat by performing the figure-of-eight movement with a nunchaku 138 times in one minute, surpassing the previous record of 120 repetitions. Her performance has been officially verified and recorded by Guinness World Records.
With this achievement, Saba Rashid broke the record previously held by India’s Kiran O’Neal, who had set multiple world records in martial arts. The category was recently introduced by Guinness World Records and opened for international attempts through its official platform.
