The Lahore High Court on Monday approved the bail application of YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in a case related to the promotion of a gambling mobile application.
Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry granted bail against sureties of Rs1 million after reviewing the YouTuber’s post-arrest plea. The court allowed his release while the case continues to move through legal proceedings.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had registered the case, alleging that Ducky Bhai promoted a gambling-linked mobile app on his online platforms. He was taken into custody after the agency initiated action against him.
Ducky Bhai, one of Pakistan’s most prominent digital content creators, sought relief from the Lahore High Court, with his legal team arguing that the allegations warranted deeper investigation.
The court’s decision offers temporary relief, allowing him to remain free on bail while the inquiry continues.
