Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday expressed gratitude over the Pakistan Muslim League (N)’s strong performance in the recent by-elections, calling the results a reaffirmation of public trust in the party’s governance.

She congratulated the newly elected members of both the National Assembly and the Provincial Assembly, extending her best wishes for their future responsibilities.
“Alhamdulillah — the people of Pakistan have once again honoured those who serve the nation,” she said. “The chapter of hatred, chaos, and unrest has ended, and a new era of service and progress has begun. Times have changed, priorities have changed, and Pakistan is moving forward — now service will earn the mandate.”
Maryam Nawaz said the decisive victory for the PML-N reflected a clear message from the public to accelerate the country’s development trajectory.
“The people have spoken clearly: only those who work will receive votes,” she added. “Even the ballot box carries the message that Pakistan needs a bright future, not conflict and disorder.”
