During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security dynamics, and opportunities to enhance bilateral defence cooperation. Both Pakistan and Indonesia reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the longstanding partnership between their armed forces.
The Indonesian president praised the professionalism and capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces, acknowledging Pakistan’s significant role in fostering regional peace and stability.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s strong ties with Indonesia and emphasized Islamabad’s commitment to expanding collaboration in defence training, counter-terrorism initiatives, and capacity-building efforts.
