Pakistan’s renowned stuntman and world record holder Sultan Muhammad Golden set two new world records during a high-adrenaline stunt show held in Quetta, Balochistan, on Saturday.
In a rare motorsport feat, Golden established a new world record by completing a one-mile reverse drive in just 57 seconds. The previous record was held by an American stuntman, who completed the same distance in one minute and 15 seconds in 2022.
The record-breaking performance drew loud applause from spectators, with organisers confirming that the timing marked the fastest one-mile reverse drive ever officially recorded.
Following his first achievement, Golden returned to the track to attempt another daring stunt. He successfully completed a reverse ramp jump covering a distance of 121.72 feet, setting a second world record during the same event.
The previous record for a long-distance reverse ramp jump stood at 89 feet and 3.25 inches, which Golden surpassed by a wide margin, prompting renewed cheers and admiration from fans in attendance.
After the historic performance, the chief minister and governor of Balochistan met Sultan Muhammad Golden and congratulated him on his remarkable achievements, praising his contribution to Pakistan’s representation in international motorsport and stunt performance.
