ISLAMABAD – 07 December 2025: Pakistan Navy Ship PNS Yamama, deployed on the Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP), carried out a major counter-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea, seizing 1,500 kilograms of hashish worth an estimated 3 million US dollars.
According to the Pakistan Navy, the successful interdiction highlights the Navy’s unwavering commitment to curbing illegal trafficking and strengthening maritime security across the region.
The Pakistan Navy routinely conducts RMSP missions to protect national maritime interests by maintaining round-the-clock vigilance and ensuring a robust operational presence at sea. The Navy also plays an active role in cooperative security initiatives alongside regional and international partners, contributing significantly to a safe, stable, and secure maritime environment.
This latest seizure underscores Pakistan Navy’s ongoing efforts to disrupt criminal networks operating in the maritime domain and reinforces its resolve to safeguard regional waters.
