Senior leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi chapter on Sunday inspected preparations at the Eidgah Ground in Korangi No. 3½ ahead of a major public rally marking the party’s 58th Foundation Day.

Sindh Minister for Labour, Human Resources and Social Protection and PPP Karachi Division President Saeed Ghani, along with PPP Sindh General Secretary Senator Waqar Mehdi, reviewed security, logistical, and stage arrangements. Both leaders expressed satisfaction over the progress, noting that the upcoming gathering is expected to be a significant political event for the city.
PPP Karachi General Secretary Rauf Nagori, PPP Korangi President Jani Memon, PPP Central District President Sardar Khan, Hyder Khan, Korangi Vice-President Shehraz Waheed, Information Secretary Ahmed Raza, Naeem Sheikh, and numerous party office-bearers and workers were also present during the visit.
Speaking to the media, Saeed Ghani said the PPP Karachi Division will hold a “grand public rally” at the Korangi Eidgah Ground on Sunday, 30 November, starting at 1:00 pm, as part of Foundation Day celebrations being observed at the district level nationwide. He added that, as in the previous year, the Karachi organisation has opted for a joint event bringing together all districts of the metropolis on a single platform.
Ghani also confirmed that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will address participants via video link, simultaneously speaking to similar Foundation Day rallies across the country.
He urged party workers, supporters, and citizens of Karachi to attend in large numbers and help make the event a resounding success.
