H.E. General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al Rowaili, Chief of General Staff (CGS) of the Saudi Armed Forces, called on General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Monday.

The meeting focused on key areas of mutual interest, with both military leaders reaffirming their commitment to deepening the longstanding strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Discussions centered on enhancing defence collaboration, expanding security cooperation, and strengthening joint counter-terrorism efforts — core pillars of the brotherly relationship between the two nations.
General Al Rowaili appreciated Pakistan’s support and cooperation with the Saudi Armed Forces across multiple domains and expressed his resolve to further advance defence ties.
Upon his arrival at GHQ, the Saudi CGS laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to honour Pakistan’s martyrs. He was also presented a Guard of Honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army.
