Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on Sunday.

Sharing the news on social media, Sonam Kapoor announced, “With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby boy today, 29th of March 2026.” The message, signed by the couple and their elder son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, reflected their joy as their family expanded to four members.
The actor expressed that their “hearts have expanded in the most beautiful way,” adding that Vayu was “overjoyed” to step into the role of an older brother. She described the newborn as a blessing who has filled their home with happiness and grace.
Several celebrities extended their congratulations, including Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Zoya Akhtar, who shared warm wishes in the comments.
The baby’s grandfather, veteran actor Anil Kapoor, also shared the announcement, welcoming the newborn with a heartfelt message. Addressing his grandson, he wrote, “Welcome to the world, my little one, you are already so deeply loved,” while encouraging Vayu as he takes on his new role as a big brother.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in 2018 in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. The couple had met a few years earlier during the promotions of her film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
