Security forces in Pakistan conducted two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 20 and 21 November 2025, resulting in the killing of thirteen militants linked to the India-sponsored network known locally as Al Khwarij.

The first operation took place in the Paharkhel area of Lakki Marwat District following reports of militant presence. During the engagement, troops exchanged heavy fire with the group and killed ten militants.
In a separate intelligence-driven operation in Dera Ismail Khan District, security personnel engaged another militant cell, killing three individuals involved.
According to officials, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the deceased militants, who were allegedly involved in multiple terrorist attacks targeting security forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians.
Security forces stated that area sanitization efforts are ongoing to ensure no remaining militants are present. The operations are part of Pakistan’s continued counterterrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” framework, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, aimed at eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism within the country.
