
In Kurram district, three individuals have been arrested after refusing to sign a peace agreement aimed at restoring stability to the region. Additionally, legal action has been initiated against those who participated in a sit-in protest outside the Parachinar Press Club. The protestors blocked the road, violating Section 144 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The district authorities have confirmed that they will pursue legal measures against the protestors.
In a separate development, security forces have arrested another suspect involved in the attack on Kurram Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud, bringing the total number of arrests in the case to three. Authorities are actively continuing their search for the remaining suspects involved in the attack.
The district administration has assured residents that efforts are underway to reopen the blocked roads and ensure the smooth movement of traffic across the region.
