Officials said the attacks included attempts to infiltrate networks, deploy ransomware, and conduct coordinated phishing campaigns aimed at national digital platforms. Authorities also revealed that artificial intelligence technologies were used to develop sophisticated offensive cyber tools.
The report did not identify any group or country responsible for the attacks.
According to the UAE Cybersecurity Council, safeguarding individuals, protecting personal data, and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of critical services remain top priorities.
The council stated that the country’s national cybersecurity and cyber defence framework continues to function with high efficiency, enabling authorities to detect and counter emerging digital threats.
Officials noted that recent incidents involved coordinated efforts to breach systems and disrupt essential services but confirmed that preventive measures successfully mitigated the risks.
Authorities have urged the public to report suspicious online activity and potential cyber threats through official channels to help maintain the security of the nation’s digital environment and ensure the smooth functioning of institutions.
