Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Mansoorah in Lahore on Saturday, where he met Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman to discuss the country’s political and security situation, regional developments and issues affecting the public.

Acting Secretary General Nazir Ahmed Janjua and Information Secretary Shakeel Ahmed Turabi also attended the meeting.
National issues discussed
During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on matters of national importance and explored ways to address the challenges facing the country and its people.
Meanwhile, Naqvi said regional tensions had eased once again due to the continued efforts of the Field Marshal.
Condolences over Ameer-ul-Azeem’s death
The interior minister also expressed deep grief over the passing of Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Ameer-ul-Azeem.
Furthermore, he offered Fateha for the deceased and prayed for the elevation of his ranks. He also expressed sympathy with the bereaved family, the Jamaat-e-Islami leadership and its workers, praying for patience and strength during their time of loss.
