Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has registered for the Afghanistan Premier League (APL) as a British citizen. Amir acquired British citizenship after receiving a British passport, according to reports. Sources say the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided not to issue no-objection certificates (NOCs) to Pakistani players seeking to participate in the APL. Several Pakistani cricketers have reportedly registered for the league’s draft, which is scheduled to take place tomorrow. However, Amir does not require an NOC from the PCB because he holds British citizenship. Post navigation Pakistani Rupee: Local Currency Gains Three Paisas Against US Dollar
