Karachi: Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), held an interactive session with students and faculty at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Karachi, focusing on national unity, responsible social media use, and the role of youth in countering misinformation.

During the session, students expressed a strong commitment to supporting the Pakistan Armed Forces in tackling fake propaganda and hostile narratives aimed at destabilizing the country. They emphasized that Pakistan’s youth, in collaboration with the military, would continue to counter disinformation campaigns by anti-state elements.
Faculty members highlighted the enduring unity between the people of Pakistan and their armed forces, cautioning against the spread of unverified information on social media. They urged students to distinguish between credible sources and misleading content to protect both themselves and society.
Students underscored the importance of safeguarding the nation from misinformation and reaffirmed that while Pakistan seeks peace, its people stand united with the military against internal and external threats.
Both faculty and students praised the professional standards and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and reaffirmed their commitment to contributing positively toward the country’s progress and national cohesion.
The session concluded with a renewed pledge of support for the Armed Forces and a collective resolve to promote truth, harmony, and responsible citizenship.
