Google has introduced Nano Banana Pro, a new AI-powered image editing feature that allows users to blend up to 14 images, maintain facial consistency across multiple subjects, and perform precise, localized edits using simple prompts.

The tool supports up to five people in a single composition, enabling users to select, refine, or transform specific areas of an image. This makes it easier than ever to perfect portraits, group shots, or creative scenes. Advanced adjustments include camera angle changes, focus manipulation, scene lighting transformations, and professional-grade color grading, all accessible directly via intuitive prompts.
Nano Banana Pro produces high-quality images in multiple aspect ratios, with 2K and 4K output options, making it ideal for professional content creators, marketers, and designers seeking high-resolution visuals without labor-intensive manual editing.
The feature is now available in the Gemini app under the “Create images” option within the “Thinking” model. Free users receive a limited quota, after which the standard Nano Banana tool is used. Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers gain higher quotas and enhanced functionality.
In the United States, Nano Banana Pro is also accessible in AI Mode for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers via Google Search. NotebookLM subscribers worldwide can now use the tool for advanced image creation directly within their notebooks.
