A Pakistan Navy flotilla comprising PNS Rah Naward (sail ship), PNS Madadgar and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) vessel PMSS Kashmir visited Port Sultan Qaboos in Muscat during an overseas deployment, where the ships were warmly received by Omani authorities.

During the port call, the mission commander and commanding officers held meetings with senior leadership of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO). The mission commander called on the Acting Commander RNO, Director General Operations and Plans, Commander Maritime Security Centre, Commander Said Bin Sultan Naval Base and the Commandant of Sultan Qaboos Naval Academy. Discussions focused on maritime security, naval cooperation and matters of mutual professional interest.
Following the visit, Pakistan Navy and PMSA ships conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Royal Oman Navy ship Khasab. The exercise aimed at enhancing interoperability, strengthening bilateral naval ties and promoting shared learning between the two navies.
Pakistan and Oman are maritime neighbours, and regular port visits, joint exercises and naval engagements remain a key feature of their longstanding defence and maritime cooperation.
