A passing out parade for Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) personnel was held on January 30, 2026, at the Special Security Unit (SSU) Chowkandi Headquarters, marking the successful completion of a Specialized Security Course by 20 officers.

The training programme was designed to enhance professional security skills and operational readiness of FBR personnel assigned to sensitive duties. Participants underwent intensive instruction in security protocols, field operations, weapons handling, physical fitness and protective services, equipping them to operate effectively in high-risk environments.
Commandant SSU Aamir Khan Niazi, who attended the ceremony as chief guest, congratulated the graduating officers and praised their discipline, dedication and enthusiasm throughout the course. He underscored the importance of specialised training in building a capable and professional force, adding that continuous capacity-building is vital to address evolving security challenges and maintain high operational standards.
Deputy Chief Security Officer FBR Asghar Khan was also present and thanked the SSU administration for providing modern, professional training to FBR personnel. He appreciated the high standards maintained during the programme and highlighted its importance in strengthening institutional security.
SP Chowkandi Farah Ambreen and other senior SSU officers also attended the ceremony.
