Massive airstrikes by the United States and Israel struck key oil and fuel depots in Tehran, triggering huge fires that sent thick smoke across the Iranian capital, according to international media reports.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that several strategic fuel storage facilities were targeted in a coordinated operation. The strikes caused large explosions and towering flames, with dense smoke spreading across the city.
In response, Iran launched drones and missiles toward Gulf states including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Authorities reported that debris from an intercepted projectile in Dubai killed one civilian and damaged two skyscrapers.
Speaking aboard Air Force One, US President Donald Trump warned that the conflict could continue until Iran’s military leadership is fully neutralized, suggesting the war may intensify further.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would continue its military campaign with maximum force, outlining a strategy aimed at weakening the Iranian government.
Iranian officials said the country’s military capabilities remain intact. The deputy defence minister stated that Iran’s missile, drone and bomb arsenals are fully operational and capable of sustaining a prolonged confrontation.
Reports indicate that during the first week of fighting, Israeli forces carried out nearly 3,400 airstrikes targeting missile production facilities and critical infrastructure across Iran.
President Trump also criticised Keir Starmer, the prime minister of United Kingdom, saying the United States does not need allies who seek to join a war only after victory appears certain.
The rapidly escalating conflict has heightened fears of a wider regional war across the Middle East.
