The price of gold in Pakistan continued its upward trajectory on Thursday, marking the third consecutive increase in line with global market trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,300 per tola, reaching Rs278,300. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,114, settling at Rs238,597.
On the international front, gold prices also climbed by $13, reaching $2,665 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
Meanwhile, the price of silver in the local market remained unchanged at Rs3,350 per tola.
The sustained increase in gold prices reflects a combination of rising global demand and market volatility, prompting local investors to closely monitor fluctuations in precious metals.
