Iran War claims have intensified after Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi said the United States had failed to achieve its strategic objectives in the conflict. In a statement, Mohebi said the opposing side had divided its goals into 13 objectives but had failed to accomplish any of them. He claimed US military operations had neither changed Iran’s political system nor divided its territory. Mohebi also questioned the effectiveness of the US military presence in the region, arguing that American bases had become sources of insecurity rather than providing protection. The IRGC spokesman said the conflict had raised questions about claims of US intelligence superiority, alleging that attacks had exposed vulnerabilities in American intelligence facilities and military bases. He further claimed that attacks on US aircraft and the destruction of air defence systems had undermined Washington’s military advantage. Mohebi also argued that the conflict had damaged the United States’ international standing. He cited the strike on a school in Minab as an incident that, according to him, had further harmed Washington’s reputation. The remarks reflect Tehran’s account of the conflict, with Iranian officials portraying US military operations as unsuccessful in achieving their stated strategic aims. The claims have not been independently established in the statement, and the remarks represent the IRGC spokesman’s assessment of the war.
