According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 3.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was located about seven kilometres northwest of Chaman, at a depth of 14 kilometres.
The tremors prompted residents to rush out of their homes in panic, with many seen reciting religious prayers amid fears of aftershocks.
Initial reports confirmed that no loss of life or damage to property was reported as a result of the earthquake. Authorities said the situation remains normal and are continuing to monitor seismic activity in the region.
