A delegation of participants from the National Security Workshop Balochistan visited Peshawar, where they met the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Corps Commander Peshawar, receiving detailed briefings on key national and regional issues.

During the visit, the delegation paid homage at the Martyrs’ Memorial, offering Fateha for the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country. The participants paid rich tribute to the fallen heroes, terming their sacrifices a priceless national asset.
The workshop participants later attended an extensive question-and-answer session with the Corps Commander Peshawar. He addressed their queries and briefed them on measures taken to improve law and order, counterterrorism operations, and border management in the province.
The delegation also visited the Governor House, where in-depth discussions were held with the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on issues including security challenges, mutual coordination, and development initiatives.
Concluding the visit, the participants toured the Bala Hisar Fort Museum, where they were introduced to Peshawar’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
Participants of the National Security Workshop Balochistan said the Pakistan Armed Forces and Frontier Corps are the guardians of national integrity and development. They noted that the interaction with the Corps Commander provided valuable, fact-based insights into border management challenges, underscoring the importance of such engagements for informed understanding.
