Pakistan has extended its ban on Indian flights using its airspace until November 27, 2026, according to a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA). The extension keeps Indian aircraft barred from Pakistani airspace for another month beyond the previous deadline. The restrictions will remain in force until 5am Pakistan Standard Time on November 27, unless the authority issues a further notice. The PAA issued the updated NOTAM on Saturday, informing airlines and aviation operators of the revised deadline. According to a PAA spokesperson, the notice specifies the date and time until which the restrictions will remain in effect. Indian flights will not be permitted to use Pakistani airspace during this period. The authority did not provide further details about the reasons for the extension or indicate whether officials would review the restrictions before the new deadline. The ban requires affected Indian airlines and other operators to plan alternative routes that avoid Pakistani airspace, potentially affecting flight paths and journey times. The restrictions will remain in place until the deadline stated in the NOTAM, unless the PAA announces a change.
