The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) recovered on Tuesday after posting losses in the previous trading session, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining 412.79 points, or 0.23%, to reach 177,388.46 points. The index opened at 176,975.67 points, compared with Monday’s close of 176,975.68 points. During the session, it touched a high of 177,800.28 points and a low of 177,343.54 points. Trading activity remained strong, with 93.97 million shares changing hands during the session. India 51 citizens recruited into Russian Army killed in Ukraine war The market had turned bearish on Monday, when the KSE-100 shed 720.83 points, or 0.41%, to close at 176,975.68 points. The previous session had ended at 177,696.51 points. Trading volume in the ready market rose sharply on Monday to 937.270 million shares from 658.327 million shares in the previous session. The value of shares traded also increased to Rs39.134 billion from Rs31.454 billion. Despite the stronger trading activity, overall market capitalisation fell to Rs19.830 trillion on Monday from Rs19.885 trillion a day earlier.
