The United Kingdom has deported Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt after revoking his visa over undisclosed criminal cases, sources confirmed to Geo News on Tuesday.

Butt was sent back to Pakistan early Tuesday morning on a flight arranged following the Home Office’s expulsion orders. His visa, originally valid until 2027, was cancelled after investigators determined he had failed to disclose active cases against him at the time of his application — a serious violation of UK immigration rules.
The action came after MI6 detained Butt and fellow YouTuber Nadeem Naniwala several days ago following anonymous complaints alleging terrorism links. According to sources, both men were cleared of any involvement in terrorism during the inquiry.
However, while Naniwala — a British national — was released, Butt’s documents were forwarded for additional scrutiny. It was during this process that UK authorities confirmed the undeclared pending cases, reportedly shared earlier by Pakistani institutions. Following the assessment, the Home Office issued Butt a formal notice ordering him to leave the country immediately.
A close associate of Butt confirmed the deportation, and Naniwala, who accompanied him on the flight, also verified the development. UK authorities stated the deportation adhered strictly to immigration regulations relating to visa violations.
Protective Bail in Pakistan
In a separate development, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted protective bail to Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala in connection with multiple cybercrime and other pending cases registered against them in Pakistan.
The court ordered that neither content creator be arrested upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport on Wednesday and directed them to appear before the bench tomorrow.
Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas issued the directives during the hearing of cases involving both men, including complaints filed under cybercrime laws.
