Security forces destroyed an explosives-laden vehicle that militants had allegedly prepared for a suicide attack before it could reach its target. Intelligence-Based Operation Prevents Attack Officials said the vehicle carried a large quantity of explosives intended for a major terrorist attack in Wana and nearby areas. Security forces reportedly kept the suspected vehicle under surveillance for three consecutive days. They launched the operation only after the vehicle had moved away from populated areas to minimise the risk to civilians. Authorities said the careful planning helped protect innocent lives and prevented possible damage to property. One Militant Killed, Five Injured According to security sources, the operation destroyed the explosives-filled vehicle along with a motorcycle. One suspected militant was killed, while five others sustained injuries during the operation. Officials described the successful mission as another example of the security forces’ continued efforts to eliminate militant threats and maintain peace and security in the region.
