In the past four years, the proportion of male broadband users increased by 21%, climbing from 79% to nearly 100%. Meanwhile, female users marked a significant rise of 12%, expanding their share from 21% to 33%.
The branchless banking sector saw similar trends. Male users increased by 26%, taking their share from 55% to 81%, while women experienced a 17% rise in participation.
