
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan firmly reiterated the party’s stance on ongoing negotiations and the demands of PTI founder Imran Khan during a media interaction outside Adiala Jail on Monday. Gohar revealed that two meetings have already been held with the government’s negotiation committee, but a third session hinges on securing a meeting with the incarcerated PTI leader.

“We have clearly communicated to the government committee that a meeting with Imran Khan is essential before proceeding further. While we hoped to meet today, there’s still no confirmation. We remain hopeful for a meeting tomorrow,” stated Gohar.
Gohar also dismissed circulating rumors about backdoor talks involving Bushra Bibi, emphasizing their falsity. “Bushra Bibi is not involved in the negotiation process. All discussions are solely conducted by the committee formed by Imran Khan,” he clarified. He also reaffirmed that there are no backdoor negotiations happening.
The PTI leader outlined the party’s demands, which include the release of prisoners and the formation of a judicial commission, issues for which Imran Khan has set a time frame. In addition, Barrister Gohar emphasized the need for a clear verdict on the £190 million reference case, asserting that Imran Khan did not benefit personally from the case and that witness testimonies have supported his non-involvement.
