Senator Faisal Vawda has warned that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will be left with “nothing” if its leadership refuses to accept a “minus one” formula, declaring that no further leniency will be shown and that those resisting will be “crushed.”

Speaking during a televised interview, Vawda claimed that PTI’s popularity has “ended,” arguing that the ongoing political turmoil is driven not by national interest but by a “war for power and money.”
“We kept tolerating things, and this is why we have reached this point,” he said, adding that from now on every action against the state will be met with a stronger response. Vawda asserted that “developments will begin from Monday,” noting that several individuals had already “surrendered” following the recent press briefing by the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
He further alleged that internal family matters of the PTI founder had revealed “weaknesses” and contributed to the party’s current political situation. “Accept the minus one and go home,” Vawda said, criticising the party chief for reacting emotionally when denied meetings or political support.
His remarks follow DG ISPR’s recent statement that no individual’s ambitions can be placed above the state, warning that the idea of “if not me, then nothing” poses a direct challenge to national stability.
