Security forces on December 26, 2025, carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Panjgur district of Balochistan on reports of the presence of terrorists linked to an Indian-backed group, Fitna al Khwarij.

According to official sources, security personnel effectively engaged the terrorists’ hideout during the operation. Following an intense exchange of fire, four Indian-sponsored militants were killed.
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.
Security officials said sanitisation operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining terrorists and ensure the area is fully cleared.
The operation is part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism drive under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.
Authorities reaffirmed that security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their relentless campaign at full pace to eradicate the threat of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
